Home School Mission

      Here at God's Warriors Martial Arts are very excited to offer our Home school program, which is solely to dedicated to our home school community. Martial arts classes provide an excellent avenue for kids to interact with their peers.

Participating in group sessions and working with a partner on drills, children learn teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship. They build friendships and develop social skills by communicating with fellow students and instructors. Our structured environment fosters positive social interactions, helping home schooled kids feel connected and engaged. We offer a daytime class which will help build their confidence with a smaller group of home school kids and then an evening class of their choice to engage in a larger social settings.

 

We help promote healthy Physical and Mental Health

  • Cardiovascular Fitness: Martial arts involve dynamic movements, which improve cardiovascular health. Regular practice enhances endurance, agility, and overall fitness.

  • Strength and Flexibility: Techniques like kicks, punches, and forms enhance muscle strength and flexibility. These physical attributes contribute to overall well-being.

  • Bone Health: Weight-bearing exercises in martial arts promote bone density, reducing the risk of osteoporosis.

  • Coordination and Balance: Practicing martial arts hones motor skills, coordination, and balance.

  • Confidence and Self-Esteem: As children master techniques and earn belt ranks, their confidence soars. Accomplishments in martial arts spill over into other areas of life, boosting self-esteem.

  • Stress Reduction: Physical activity releases endorphins, reducing stress and anxiety. Martial arts provide an outlet for emotional well-being.

  • Discipline and Focus: Consistent practice instills discipline, focus, and perseverance. These qualities benefit academic studies and personal growth.

  • Character Development: Martial arts emphasize values like respect, integrity, and perseverance. Children learn to set goals, overcome challenges, and exhibit resilience.

  • Self-Defense Skills: Learning practical self-defense techniques empowers children and enhances their sense of safety.

  • Lifelong Habits: Engaging in martial arts establishes a lifelong habit of physical activity, promoting health throughout adulthood.

  • We also meet Tennessee State Requirements: for PE Credit by Documenting class hours, skills learned, and progress ensures compliance.
